Experimental Short
Conceived by combining 24 photographs taken each day over a period of 9 months combined with a conversation with a taxicab driver while returning from the airport , the film raises important questions around immigration, cultural stereotypes, and the meaning of home from a transnational perspective.

The AIDS Chronicles focuses on the social and cultural impact of HIV/AIDS on the African American community of Atlanta. These stories, produced from material gathered over the last four years, give insight into the reasons why HIV/AIDS is still a major threat to the black population of urban centers nationwide and reveal how the thoughts and actions of African Americans of every walk of life, every economic and educational level, and every gender identification are affected. Through frank interviews with activists, health educators, and victims the viewer sees the struggle of those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS to break its death grip.
Narrative Feature
Algeny is the modern-day tale of a young man whose dreams of starting and belonging to a family are shattered after discovering he’s a marked man by one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the country. Justin Thomas is a walking mystery. An orphan trying to make a life for himself in adulthood, he yearns to create the family he never had, but when he discovers the secrets of his past, his hopes for the future and his life are put in jeopardy. Justin finds out that his body is an experiment that could change the nature of the world for good or ill. Those who want him will stop at nothing. The chase begins. When it ends, Justin will either assist mankind or help along its ultimate destruction. Either way, his world will be forever changed in this all too present day thriller.
Documentary Feature
American Teen intimately follows the lives of four teenagers in one small town in Indiana through their senior year of high school. Using cinema vérité footage, interviews, and animation, it presents a candid portrait of being a teenager and all that goes with it. A modern day “Breakfast Club”, we see the insecurities, the cliques, the jealousies, the first loves and heartbreaks, and the struggle to make profound decisions about the future. A hit at Sundance, the film picked up the Documentary Directing Award there for Nanette Burstein, the Oscar-nominated director of On the Ropes.
