THE ADVENTURES OF BAXTER & MCGUIRE Director: Mike Blum - Romania, USA - 3 minutes This animated buddy-comedy chronicles the adventures of Baxter and McGuire, the closest of pals who never leave each other's side. They also just happen to be testicles. BAD HABIT, LITTLE RABBIT Director: Christian Effenberger - Germany - 8 minutes A little rabbit with a special fondness for carrot tips finds the biggest carrot in the world, but that huge thing sticks rock-solid in the ground. His energetic attempts to get closer to his lunch cause some seeerious consequences. BOTTLED Director: Jian Lee - USA - 4 minutes An animated woman who lives in a bottle in the studio of her artist creator, who notices that she is lonely and bored. So the artist creates a male companion, but will they get along? BUNNYHEADS Director: Jim Blashfield - USA – 5 minutes With characters based upon and inspired by work of sculptor Christine Bourdette, this mysterious stop-motion animated film takes viewers on a visit to a hive of strange archetypal beings who inhabit a netherworld reminiscent of both Fritz Lang's Metropolis and some mysterious place under someone's basement stairs. BUT SOME ARE BRAVE Director: Grace Channer - Canada - 6 minutes A five-minute oil painted animated film infused with evocative vocals and a lyrical soundscape. A poetic chronicle, it weaves the cultural and political histories of communities under attack into a visually spectacular testament to the power of struggle and resistance. THE CHESTNUT TREE Director: Hyun-min Lee - USA - 4 minutes A mother and daughter create memories under the Chestnut Tree. DEADLY DESIRE Director: Darius Hill - USA - 2 minutes Blinded by love, a small turtle has become deeply infatuated with one of his natural predators, a hawk. FETCH Director: Dana Dorian - United Kingdom - 2 minutes Colin takes his dog Cumberland to the park for a game of fetch, but Cumberland has other ideas. What happens when mans best friend refuses to co-operate? FINAL JOURNEY Director: Lars Zimmermann - Germany - 12 minutes Jake Waylon dreams of leaving his meager life behind and dreams of taking an expensive trip to a south sea planet. When the company he works for holds a competition with that very trip as a prize, Jake immediately sees his chance to finally achieve his personal aim. HITLER'S BRAIN Director: Count Lear Bunda - USA - 12 minutes After spending his life online some dude wakes up hungover to find himself as the mouse cursor on the desktop. A Survivalist Guy helps show him the ropes and more importantly: how to survive. Together and in search for pizza they buy pots, fight internet vikings, ride marta, and argue until they encounter Hitler's Brain. KIDTASTROPHE Director: - USA - 1 minute Kid-tastrophe: Seated next to you is an overwhelmed parent with a crying baby. Seated directly behind you is a child intent on kicking the back of your seat for the duration of the flight, while their parent is oblivious. LAV DANCE Director: - USA - 1 minute The Lav Dance: the awkward sidestep involving the person rushing to leave the lav and the individuals lined up in front of it. Eye contact must never happen between participants in the Lav Dance THE MADNESS OF BEING Director: Hal Miles - USA - 8 minutes Our character, who is confined in an extremely small and isolated room for all of eternity, confronts it’s madness of being by painfully witnessing a series of agonizing situations about itself. Or does it? MOVIEKISS: THE LITE BRITE VIDEO Director: Gina Niespodziani - USA - 5 minutes 'Moviekiss' transforms more than 2,400 photographs of art created on a Lite Brite '80s illuminatory toy into the psychedelic subject of a stop-motion music video. THE PLUSH LIFE Director: Timothy Heath - USA - 4 minutes Two buddies overcome an unfortunate incident on their daily commute. RUNNING SEASONS Director: Y. Grace Park - USA - 6 minutes A black and white tale about a boy's life that is symbolized by the inside of a train. As the boy moves from one car to the other, he grows older and the world inside the train becomes colder. SNAPSHOTS Director: James Mullins - USA - 6 minutes Average Joe alien takes a trip to an asteroid field. While enjoying the scenery of one of the larger asteroids, he mistakenly picks a flower that is much more than a common flower. WHEN I GROW UP Director: Michelle Meeker - USA - 7 minutes A group of 7 to 10-year-olds talk about what they want to be when they grow up interspersed with elders’ stories about what they dreamt of being when they were younger and where life took them.
