I enjoyed this take on the acting biz. It had some very funny moments in the audition waiting room.

This is an excellent short film that manages to be extremely funny while also getting into some significant issues about stereotyping in the movie business. The scene of actresses sitting in a casting office wearing burkas and short skirts is classic. A beautiful Indian actress (Sarita Choudhury) is up against a blond girl in a pink burka! There are also very funny appearances by Sam Rockwell and Kerry Washington — quite a cast for a no-budget movie ... NOTE: If you didn't stay to the end of the screening, you didn't find out that the ending was missing! The last two minutes were accidentally cut off when it was projected. There's a great twist at the end.

I really enjoyed the drama of this short film. It had a very talented cast, many of whom are, or will be someday, familiar to viewers. The 'artsy' style of the film has it's audience, but I'm not necessarily one of them. The concept is what made this one for me, aided by the excellent acting by the cast. The ending seemed a little rushed, like one of those movies were the budget ran out before the script ended. However, for me, the message came through about the realities of life don't always fit well with the realities of 'show biz'. This story was one that I would love see fully developed and filmed to clear ending, especially with this cast!
