Every person who ever played "the game," any game, wishes he could play forever. Whether you were a little league slugger, your high school hero or the big man on campus, those youthful years never really leave one's deepest memory bank. This is the true story of National Network, of a group of 40-something athletes, good friends for 18 years, who never gave up the dream of playing big league baseball at a competitive level. Faded Glory follows the trials and tribulations of the Network 38+ team and how they fought through devastating injuries, personal tragedies, divorce, bankruptcy, intervention, incarceration and even a sudden death one month before the tournament in their quest towards both the National Amateur Baseball Association and Men's Senior Baseball League World Series titles. No matter what these players do or did for a professional career, it's obvious from their love and intensity for the game that they all wished they could have walked up the steps of a major league dugout and stepped out onto the field.
