Described by Time Out Chicago as "two of the world's finest practitioners of the art of long-form improv" and the New York Times as "Second City-seasoned masters", TJ Jagodowski and David Pasquesi have become living legends in their field. Their performances of entirely improvised, character-driven, often hilarious and wholly original one-hour plays have mesmerized audiences worldwide. Exploring the folds of faith that underlie their relationship and the transcendental forces that govern their improvisation, Trust Us, This Is All Made Up provides their insights into the art of improv as well as a complete live performance recorded at New York's Barrow Street Theater. Whether you're a student of improvisation or simply interested in the underpinnings of human imagination and the depths of mutual understanding, this journey will leave you laughing, guessing, and in awe of this altogether remarkable feat.

Fantastic to watch these two geniuses in action. These guys are brilliantly hilarious. The use of the split screen at the beginning was somewhat distracting, but only because there was a fade to black (seeming to signal transition) only to go right back into the split screen format. I would have also preferred that the filmmaker(s) follow the energy of the pre-performace song straight into the performance instead of bring the energy back down to capture one more "the story is already happening" comment. Besides that one pacing/editing miscue, pretty entertaining stuff.
