Lightbulb
Jeffrey Balsmeyer | Narrative Competition
My big surprise of the festival. I loved it. It was funny, well-shot, well-acted, all of it. The lack of hype around this film was criminal.

Killer Movie
Jeff Fisher | American Showcase, Georgia Films, LGBTQ, Pink Peach
Nicely shot and plenty of pretty faces to look at. But the script was simplistic and pretty tame for what I imagined a horror/reality hybrid would be. Somehow the kills were kind of uncomfortable instead of scaryawesome. I was truly sad to see the stoner go.
