Trust Us, This Is All Made Up
Alex Karpovsky | American Showcase
Fantastic to watch these two geniuses in action. These guys are brilliantly hilarious. The use of the split screen at the beginning was somewhat distracting, but only because there was a fade to black (seeming to signal transition) only to go right back into the split screen format. I would have also preferred that the filmmaker(s) follow the energy of the pre-performace song straight into the performance instead of bring the energy back down to capture one more "the story is already happening" comment. Besides that one pacing/editing miscue, pretty entertaining stuff.

Intriguing, fascinating, curious, hilarious, and at times poignient film. Definitely worth your time!
