WORLD PREMIERE

FEATURING: Classic Larry King footage; animation effects by Star Trek’s Doug Drexler, and an original score by American Idol arranger, Diane Louie.

‘Future by Design’ presents ninety year old futurist, Jacque Fresco, who has spent his whole life designing the future. A technologist, an inventor, an industrial designer, an artist -- peer to Albert Einstein and Buckminster Fuller – Jacque is a fascinating character, lively and engaging. This documentary presents not only Jacque Fresco's decades of work, but captures his vibrancy, enthusiasm and curiosity, all of which continue to inform his optimism for the future of humanity as a whole. This modern-day Da Vinci has a practical vision for the future – where we all are true equals, collaborating peacefully for the betterment of everyone. Helmed by Academy Award-nominated director William Gazecki.

Director William Gazecki and Mr. Fresco will be in attendance, and will conduct a lively Q&A after this thought provoking film.

We belatedly found out this week that Future by Design screened at the Rwanda Film Festival in March of this year in Kigali, the capital and largest city of Rwanda. The Rwanda Cinema Centre is an amazing and inspirational organization, and we are extremely proud to have been honored by acceptance into their 3rd annual festival. We are told by Nicole Kalisa that, "Future by Design was very much liked by the folks in Kigali. Indeed your film with wonderful packaging made an impact at the 2007 Rwanda Film Festival." Thank you to Nicole and to all the good people at the Cinema Centre.
